Timmy, a young
Mexican free-tail
bat, was trapped
in a shampoo sink
at a barbershop of
a local business.
He desperately
tried to climb the
slick walls of the
sink, but he couldn’t escape. He
struggled nonstop
un}l he was exhausted and emaciated. Timmy’s

condi}on was cri}cal. With oxygen, warmth, and an}bio}cs to prevent pneumonia, we slowly nursed him back to health. Within days, he was showing signs of
improvement. His 昀椀gh}ng spirit was obvious, and like many of the bats here at
the sanctuary, he refused to give up. Once he regained full strength, we released
him to reunite with his family in the wild.
